How I lost weight

Ever since I dropped a few dress sizes, my girlfriends had been asking me how I did it. For awhile it was fun, but I grew tired of repeating the same story over and over again. I am putting it in writing for all to see. There is no secret and the answer will most certainly sound familiar to the most. I will highlight the things that I think were the most important in my weight loss.

– I have a bowl of fruits for breakfast with 2 teaspoons of olive/flax oil.
– I started drinking eight glasses of water a day (or half of my weight in ounces).
– I started taking vitamins (
ACESc & Zn by Carson), magnesium, calcium and lecithin.
– I started taking
brown rice protein on the days I have no meat (which is about three times a week).
– I switched from the milk chocolate to the
dark (at least 72% cocoa).
– I eat about five times a day (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner).
I stopped eating dairy and bread.
– My dinner or the last snack is at least three hours before the bed time.
– I exercise at the gym two-three times a week (mostly weights).
I stopped mixing protein (meat) with carbs (like grains, breads, beans) in one meal. My lunches and dinners now have either fish/vegetables or chicken/vegetables, or rice/vegetables, or buckwheat/vegetables, or scrambled eggs/vegetables. The vegetables are steamed broccoli, cabbage, and beats, or a salad made of fresh kale, tomato, cucumber and cabbage with olive oil for a dressing.

Typically, I have about 2,200 calories a day. I am not starving myself. I enjoy eating and I eat a lot, just in a smart way.
