Switch Words, talk magic

Sometimes I arrange my house according to Feng-Shui, and today was the day when I was doing a little research on ‘bad’ and ‘good’ stars…
I know how that sounds, but you should know by now that I`m a little out there.

Anyhow, as usual, I stumbled across an article about something new. It was called Switch Words, and I had no idea what it meant.
Turned out, according to James T. Mangan, in his 1963 book ‘The Secret of Perfect Living’, there are certain words that have certain powers when we say them.

For example, HO means Sign. I said the word ‘HO’ and sure enough I sighed instantly. I than sighed again when I read about HO in his book (page 66 to be exact). I then sighed yet again, when I emailed about it to my friend. Funny, huh?

I also wanted to mention a few good ones that we can use on a daily basis:
To be healthy = BE
To get to sleep = OFF
To make yourself beautiful = PRAISE
To solve a problem = REACH or OBTAIN
To regain energy = MOVE
To stay young = LEARN
To reduce size = TINY
To make money = COUNT
To sell = GIVE
To help others = GIVE

Funny how these last two share a switchword, yeah? I think they are very much the same. The only difference is what is given back to you – money or simple ‘thank you’.

sounds as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP):) what do you think? It helps but personally I don’t like it
